There are approximately 260,000 elderly care offices nationwide, including home-visit elderly care, day care, and in-home care support, which is about four times as many as the number of convenience stores. On the other hand, approximately 80% of elderly care operators are corporations with fewer than 50 employees, and many of them are facing management issues due to their small scale. In addition to a large amount of time spent on indirect work such as document preparation, there are business and management problems such as a labor shortage due to difficulty in hiring staff, low purchasing power, and cash-flow issues, making it difficult to fully focus on the care for the elderly, and this is a common concern among elderly care operators.

In addition, the number of users of welfare services for persons with disabilities is increasing year by year due to the growing social awareness toward disabilities and easier access to diagnosis. Accordingly, the number of service offices providing welfare services for persons with disabilities has been continuously increasing, but they face the same management issues as elderly care operators.

We would like to solve these management issues faced by elderly/disability care operators by realizing the following mission.

Development of a management support platform

In our Elderly/Disability Care Operators Business, we provide "Kaipoke," a management support platform that connects elderly/disability care operators with a variety of management support services.

Kaipoke is a subscription-based cloud platform, which provides one-stop support through various services that help the management of elderly/disability care operators, such as increasing operational efficiency and improving financial conditions. This platform provides elderly/disability care operators with comprehensive management support through more than 40 services that support operations, recruitment, purchasing, finance, sales, M&A, etc., on top of the insurance claim service that is essential for elderly/disability care operations.

Maximizing the value provided through Kaipoke by increasing the number of customers and expanding services

In order to realize the mission of our Elderly/Disability Care Operators Business, which is to "contribute to sustaining high-quality elderly/disability care services," it is necessary to provide value to more elderly/disability care operators through Kaipoke, and at the same time, to continuously increase the added value of our management support services.

For this reason, we work to expand our operator coverage to a wider range of elderly/disability care service types in addition to in-home care support, day care, home-visit elderly care, home-visit nursing, etc. which are currently covered by Kaipoke (1), and to increase the number of customers in each elderly/disability care service type (2). We also promote the active development of new services in order to provide multifaceted support for the management of elderly/disability care operators (3) and the penetration of these services through extensive support for our customers (4). By accumulating, analyzing, and leveraging data on the management conditions of elderly/disability care operators, we further develop new services and improve existing services (5), thereby maximizing the value provided by our management support platform.
