Notice regarding Partial Amendments to the Articles of Incorporation

SMS CO., LTD. (the “Company”) hereby announces that, on May 14, 2018, its Board of Directors has resolved to submit a proposal for partial amendments to the Articles of Incorporation to the 15th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held on June 21, 2018.
１．Reason for the Amendments
In light of SMS group’s business expansion and diversification, the Company proposes amendments to the current Article 2 (Purpose) of the Company’s Articles of Incorporation to include new business purposes.
